Greatest "Jamband" Logos

I was reading a blog post on gigwise.com titled "The 50 Greatest Band Logos Of All Time!" with some hope that I would see some really cool stuff. In the end I felt that some were classics, while others were just the author's preferences. So I took on the task to search through some my favorites to find ones that I always loved. Since my musical tastes are rooted in Jamband music I narrowed the focus and filtered these ones out. Hope you enjoy them, and at the very least appreciate that I didn't put one on every page, here they are.

Railroad Earth
Two nice ones from RRE, the "Train" logo has been around for some time
and I believe the Very nice combo of tree and circle and RRE.

New Monsoon
The theme of eastern sounds and instruments is
integral to their music, and equally represented in this logo.

moe.
Sort of a weird blobby guy that I guess is kind of spelling out moe.

Disco Biscuits
These guys have several cool logos. I chose this one because of it's simplicty.

Steve Kimock Band
The SKB spirograph is very nice to look at.

Hot Buttered Rum
HBR has two logos I like, the original (top) is a drawing from JKL-Studios whose work I admire.
The second logo, which followed the dropping of "String Band" from their name is a clever and unique visual representation of the band's instruments. I guess there was no room for a flute, accordian, clarinet, etc...

Widespread Panic
The "sun" logo is pure jelly - psychedelic as they come.

String Cheese Incident "Hooper Crossing"
String Cheese Incident "Starry Night"

String Cheese Incident "Sun"

String Cheese Incident "Batik"

String Cheese Incident
I added many logos that String Cheese Incident has done, mainly because they have been one of my favorite bands for many many years. Each one is different and they are all really cool.

Phish
Truly a classic.
But not to be out done by SCI, they even have an applicable road sign signifying an inside joke...

and of course, all time favorite of millions...
Grateful Dead
"Steal Your Face"
